It’s been busy at The Rock Factory as usual.  Summer news is that we’ve had Auckland Council Music in Parks gigs on most weekends, which are always great fun.  And it’s been good to hear positive feedback from happy patrons.  We’ve been blessed with beautiful weather for the most part…  Though in Huia we got a lot of rain, the crowd weren’t phased and kept dancing.  I even overheard enthusiastic statements like “Wow this is just like woodstock!”. Highlights this year have been the Latin Fiesta held in Jellicoe Park in Onehunga where are huge crowd turned up – well over 3000 people up and dancing and enjoying the outdoors. We also loved the Gunslinger’s Ball lineup at Grey Lynn Park – great music, and family friendly atmosphere.
