Hire Overhead Microphones:
You may find it useful to hire overhead microphones for your project or gig. Sound Engineers often hire these small diaphragm condenser microphones in pairs to capture stereo imagery of instruments. The cardioid pattern naturally filters background noise, isolating the source of the sound for recording or amplification. These are great microphones for capturing the hi-hat and ride cymbals on a drum kit or acoustic stringed instruments.
Small condenser microphones can be used for both live or studio recording situations as overhead microphones. We have several models available for hire including the shure sm81, rode nt5 or audio technica at4041. Hire two of the same to create a stereo pair of overhear microphones.
